c-Seven Media is very happy to announce the successful relaunch of the Magazines Canada website. Together with the team at Magazines Canada, c-Seven Media completely overhauled the existing website, and using the Mantis Content Management System and creative custom web programming, were able to meet and exceed the goals and needs of Magazines Canada's online presence.

The new site comes with the ability for multiple user types to login and edit publication information, features a comprehensive events management system, for Magazines Canada's complete event planning and registration system. As well as multiple newsletter subscription and a custom publication display.

The new Magazines Canada website is perhaps one of the most full featured sites we've ever done, and the team here is very excited to have had the opportunity to work on this site!

Bay Street Fore A Cau$e

Earlier this week, we launched the new Bay Street Fore A Cau$e website.

Bay Street Fore A Cau$e is an annual charity golf tournament that takes place at a local golf course. This year the event is being held at Beacon Hall Golf Club on September 13th. A complete schedule for the all day event can be found here, the charity sponsored this year is Pathways To Education, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to reducing high school drop out rates in Ontario and Quebec.

Together with the Bay Street Fore A Cau$e committee, c-Seven Media took the outdated event website and introduced a cleaner and straightforward design, while enabling event organizers to edit the content of the entire site on their own using the Mantis content management system.

We are very proud to have been chosen to enable the people behind this great cause to reach out to and inform many more people about this great cause using the web.

We've just helped LeRay Designs rebrand and relaunch their new website. Le Ray Design specializes in Corporate and Residential Interior Design and Decoration, turning any space into beautiful and functional places to work and live. We're very excited about this project, and were happy to help owner Monique Le Ray bring a new, contemporary look and feel to her online presence.

Today, we launched the new BG Financial Strategies website. BG Financial Strategies is a Toronto based Insurance and Financial Advisory and Consultation company, specializing in Life, Business and Mortgage Insurance, as well as assisting in Estate Planning and Living Benefits.

IWCC Training needed to vastly improve their web presence. Their site was outdated btoh visually and functionally, and new business contacts and leads were not coming in. c-Seven stepped in quickly and aided IWCC with a new, clean, modern design, with a focus on information design and streamlined content.

In early 2010, Extrudex Aluminum Extrusions Manufacturers relaunched their website with c-Seven Media. Their old site was terrbily outdated, and web traffic was virtually non-existant.

Today, Extrudex is experiencing higher than ever traffic to their site, thanks to c-Seven Media. We quickly analyzed their old site and listened carefully to what they wanted to do with their relaunch to make it a success. A new design, and streamlined content, along with the powerful Mantis Content Management System were the solution.

About National Youth Orchestra of Canada
The NYOC was the brainchild of the noted conductor Walter Susskind, who joined the Toronto Symphony Orchestra as its Music Director in 1956. Based on his earlier experience with the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, Susskind became convinced that a training orchestra for outstanding young Canadian musical talent was essential: "I regard the formation of the National Youth Orchestra in Canada," he said, "as the most important step we can take to help guarantee the successful growth and development of major symphony orchestras in this country."

In the summer of 1960, Susskind and Harman Haakman directed a pilot workshop for young musicians in Stratford, Ontario. Community housing organization chooses Mantis CMS for their new web site

Toronto, Ontario. January 6th 2009 - The Dream Team invites friends and supporters to visit its newly designed website. Powered by Mantis CMS software, this website will allow them to make effective use of low cost, web based tools to enhance their communications capacity. This technology also provides platform to deploy online community building projects in the future.

The Dream Team is a group of men and women who live with mental health issues, their family members and other users of supportive housing. Many Dream Team members have been homeless at an earlier point in their lives. Over the last ten years member of the Dream Team have come together through involvement in their own housing to create a member-driven organization. Together they emphasize the life-altering benefits of supportive housing, advocate for more supportive housing and challenge stigma related to mental health. They do this by telling their individual stories and making presentations to politicians, community groups, schools, faith groups and other institutions.

Toronto, Ontario. November 5th, 2008 - girl !mpact launches interactive web portal powered by Mantis Webs CMS by c-Seven Media. This is a program with varied activities, workshops, and projects which focus on personal growth, teamwork, executive mentorship, media and community involvement. The girls selected for g! trek 2009 will have the ability to keep the public up to date on their progress, to entice others to support their projects via the web using powerful Web 2.0 Mantis tools.

The g! trek 2009
The G! trek, a project of Girl !mpact, provides the opportunity for girls in both environments to obtain the tools necessary to break the vicious cycle. To create a different life for themselves and for the communities that they come from. They are going to take 10 girls who have been raised in marginalized circumstances in Toronto and create a journey for them that will be the opportunity of a lifetime. We are going to give them fitness training, motivational coaching and executive mentorship to prepare them for a Kilimanjaro climb. These girls are going to work together and with the G! network to raise $50,000. This will send 10 girls in Kenya to secondary school. The girls will meet in Africa.

This is the start of a movement. Become a G! and join us to !mpact the lives of girls here at home and abroad.

Online Event Calendar Launches Using Mantis Web CMS

Toronto, Ontario. October 24, 2007 - The Mantis Web Content Management System (CMS) tackles an online event calendar completely customizable to suit the users' interests and location. The event calendar offers instant access to hundreds of community events and information while sifting out content that is not relevant to them. Users can choose to be notified via email of local events that reflect their specific interest. The events submitted to the calendar are entered by community event organizers which fosters user contributed content.

York Region Media Group selected c-Seven Media to build the online application because of c-Seven's speed to market capability gained from its Mantis CMS. The concept for the project comes from The Newspaper Next Report undertaken by the American Press Institute. The goal is for newspaper publishers to increase their audience by providing useful solutions relevant to the communities they serve.

c-Seven worked with the client to analyse and design a viable solution based on their initial concept. The Mantis CMS formed the base of solution allowing the calendar application to be quickly built on top of it in order to meet the critical holiday season deadline.
